PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Course

Remember the excitement of taking your first breath underwater?  Be part of the significant first moments of other new divers by being a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. 

You will learn to:
•    Conduct the full range of PADI programs which range from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster
•    Present at least two confined water teaching and knowledge development presentations each
•    Present at least one open water teaching presentation integrating two skills

Before you start, you need to be:
•    At least 18 years old
•    A PADI Divemaster or a PADI Assistant Instructor
•    CPR and first aid training certified – check out our 3-in-1 EFR & Rescue & Divermaster package deal
•    Logged more than 60 dives, including night, deep and navigation dives. 
•    Logged 100 dives to take the Instructor Exams
•    A certified diver for at least 6 months

The duration of the course depends on your progress and availability.  It normally ranges from 1 week to 1 month.  You will attend:
•    4 theory classes
•    4 pool sessions to demonstrate proficiency in diving skills and ability to assist instructor
•    Weekend dive trips to Malaysia for on-the-job training
